We went to the beach today with Jack, Mackenzie, Cathy, John, Melanie & Frank. It wasn’t the greatest beach day but the kids had a great time. The pictures really make the weather look bad. We were there for about 2-2.5 hrs until it started to rain. Then we headed off to McDonalds for lunch. [...]

I just talked to Jason and he safely made it to Iraq. He was able to call me through JAX (DSN) so it was a free call. Hopefully, that can continue. Right now, he is sleeping in an open bay tent on a cot, this will be for the next few weeks until the unit [...]
